Crop Planner

Crop Planner beta — what you are agreeing to

Version 2026-09-01

The short version: the Crop Planner is still being built. Your farm numbers stay yours, we look at them only to make the tool better, and we never sell them or hand them to anyone outside Coon Creek Farms.

1. This is beta software

It is being built and changed while you use it. Expect rough edges, features that move or disappear, and the occasional bug. It is free during the beta. If that ever changes you will be told first — nothing gets charged without you agreeing to it.

2. Do not make it your only copy

Check the math before you make a decision on it, and keep your own record of anything that matters. The site is backed up, but a beta is not the place for the only copy of your budget.

3. Your data is yours

Everything you enter — fields, acres, costs, yields, prices, plans — belongs to you. Typing it in here does not give us any ownership of it.

4. How we use it, and it is internal only

Inside Coon Creek Farms we look at what you enter in order to run and improve the tool:

  • find and fix bugs, including ones you never reported
  • see which parts get used and which parts confuse people
  • check the math against real farm numbers instead of made-up ones
  • decide what to build next

That is the whole list. Access stays with the people running the beta.

5. What we will never do

  • Sell, rent, or license your data to anyone
  • Share it outside Coon Creek Farms — not with partners, vendors, lenders, input suppliers, or anybody else
  • Publish it, or show your numbers to another user of the site
  • Use it in anything public that identifies you or your farm without asking you first and getting a yes

6. Who else can see your numbers

Anyone you invite into your own farm can see that farm's plans — that is the point of inviting them. Other farms on the site cannot see anything of yours; every farm is kept separate.

7. Leaving

Ask and we will delete your account and the data in it. Ask and we will send you a copy of what you entered. No reason needed either way, and no hard feelings.

8. If these terms change

If they change in a way that actually matters, you will be asked to accept the new version rather than have it slipped past you.

9. No warranty

The Crop Planner is provided as-is, with no guarantee that it is correct or available. Coon Creek Farms is not liable for decisions made from its output — you are the one who knows your farm.
